Philips has announced a new LCD monitor with LED backlight that allows users to experience realistic gameplay, allowing them to enter into the action. The Philips 273g premiered at IFA 2011 in Berlin, and it has a diagonal of 27 inches and a resolution of 1,920 × 1,080 pixels .
The technical features of the Philips 273g allow you to play high resolution games popular at the time, the display of the latest generation with a low response time (2 ms gray-to-gray), a high contrast ratio that brings out the colors, and support for 3D technology .
In fact, the monitor is equipped with 3D active glasses shutter, and it is fully rechargeable and wireless. In addition, players who still have many games in 2D can relive the exciting 3D depth, and the bundled software that performs the automatic transition will be the third dimension.
Philips has implemented various technologies to deliver optimal image quality. SmartResponse automatically adjusts the response time according to the requirements of specific applications, avoiding flickering, delays in the reproduction of images and ghosting. SmartImage analyzes the content on the screen and adjusts performance of the display according to the applications that’s you used (Office, images, entertainment, economy). Finally, the software SmartControl lets you adjust the monitor settings with the mouse easily.
The Philips 273g will be available in major electronics stores starting in December at a price of 499 euros including VAT.
