Android 2.2 for Samsung Epic

Android 2.2 for Samsung Epic updated. Read this article bellow :

Sprint and Samsung started out rolling out the Android 2.2 OTA update to the Epic 4G, again in late February.

Even so, the update was pulled again within three days of its release on account of many troubles like corrupting a user’s SD card, bricking phones etcetera. Now, the people above at Android Central have got their fingers on some leaked inner Sprint document.

The document states that Sprint and Samsung will probably be rolling out a brand new Android 2.2 update for the Epic 4G owners.

Along with the Epic 4G, the Samsung Transform as well as the Galaxy Tab may even get OTA updates. The Remodel will obtain the Android 2.2 update (EB28), whilst the Galaxy Tab will receive a small software program update. Every one of the updates is going to be rolled out by means of OTA (Over-The-Air) by Sprint, and hopefully will not lead to any issues this time.

Apparently, the Epic 4G Android 2.2 update is scheduled to roll out to your standard public starting from March 21st. Updates for your Galaxy Tab as well as the Transform will probably be rolled out soon after.

Hopefully, this rumor will flip out to get accurate and Epic 4G owners will lastly obtain a taste of FroYo on their handset.
